Our sweet boy Basil, We are beyond devastated that this special boy left us so suddenly due to RTA. He was such an amazing gentle giant, that never shut up and always talked back at you. We are so broken by the loss of your presence, you got us through some very tough times recently and we cannot believe you have been snatched away from us so soon. We only got to enjoy you for 2 and a half years but my god did we love you and we really felt your unconditional love back. You were always by our sides and always demanded your cuddles, nose rubs and your funny antics really brought us so much joy. You were a part of our little family, and we always envisaged you bonding and playing with our children. What was a three has now become a two, and its heart wrenching- the house is now so deafeningly silent. Each room is so silent and empty without your constant talking, we miss you so so much ☹!! I really hope you knew how much you were loved; you were the most amazing cat that most the time behaved like a dog. We are so going to miss your snoring and gentle whimpering when you were dreaming, which we always laughed about because it sounded like you were always doing this for attention. We are going to miss the pride we had whenever someone met you and said how handsome you were, and what a big boy you were! Our little tiger, such a softie and such a loving boy and you always always came back home to us but not this time. We can only cherish the wonderful memories you brought us, and how much unconditional love you taught us even in such a short space of time! We really feel robbed of your presence and your companionship, I hope you are peaceful our sweet Basil. We will never forget you and forever love you, sleep well our wonderful angel x
